Minnie
Minnie was entrusted to our care at the age of ten, following her rescue from a local public intake shelter. She had been brought to the Shelter as a stray, but upon arrival, it became evident that she suffered from significant health issues. The Shelter Veterinarian diagnosed her with Congestive Heart Failure, a condition that prompted her placement on the euthanasia list due to limited shelter resources and concerns about her quality of life. It was at this critical juncture that we intervened.
Under our vigilant supervision, Minnie has received exceptional medical attention from our Veterinarian. To manage her end-stage heart failure symptoms, she currently relies on multiple heart medications. Regrettably, Minnie's previous life of medical neglect has resulted in untreated eye ulcers. Given the risks associated with her heart condition, subjecting her to anesthesia for eye removal is deemed precarious. Consequently, we have adopted a conservative approach, diligently addressing her eye symptoms and administering eye drops on a regular basis.
To ensure the utmost quality of life for Minnie, she receives regular check-ups from our dedicated Veterinarian.
