MEET OUR GOATS

Click the photos below to read the backstory on each of our residents!

Bambi
Bambi

Bambi was saved from being sold to a farm to table restaurant by a meat buyer. Goats are a popular "artisan meat" option in many city restaurants. Named after the deer, Bambi, because he resembles one with his small ear nubs. We are so grateful he was able to be saved and can live his life at the Sanctuary. His favorite thing in the world is eating leaves and tree bark.

Thursday
Thursday

Thursday was saved just minutes before being loaded onto a truck to go to slaughter. She is a crowd favorite for visitors and is very "in your business" when you visit. She loves all food, but bananas are her absolute favorite. She loves to rub her head on a human butt and then pee. Consider her welcoming you into the tribe when you come to visit!
