At Outsiders Farm & Sanctuary, we are proud to provide a safe and loving home to many large breed pigs, lovingly referred to as our "Big Pig" residents. These remarkable pigs have been rescued from the horrors of pig farming, where they were subjected to cruel conditions, forced breeding, and the brutal realities of the pork industry. Our sanctuary offers a peaceful and dignified life for these intelligent, social animals, ensuring they receive the care and respect they deserve.

Large breed pigs, often exploited for their size and reproductive capabilities, are frequently subjected to inhumane treatment. In the pork industry, these animals endure overcrowded living conditions, lack of proper veterinary care, and early slaughter. The exploitation of pigs for breeding and meat production is a deeply troubling practice that disregards their complex emotional and physical needs. At Outsiders, we aim to provide an alternative to this grim reality by offering a lifelong sanctuary where they can experience the joys of a natural, stress-free life.
